Hawaiian Language Immersions Schools provide a high quality education where Hawaiian Language and culture serve as the foundation upon which individuals become responsible, sensitive and productive adults who contribute significantly to all levels of Hawaii`s community.

Nā Leo Kāko`o o Maui, Inc. (NLK) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization made up of parents and community members that supports three Kula Kaiapuni or Hawaiian Immersion Schools: Paia Elementary, Kalama Intermediate and King Kekaulike High School.

Incorporated in 1990, our organization`s main goal is to advocate for Hawaiian language education in our public schools and to ensure the needs of our students are adequately met.
